Filial piety is an important Chinese cultural value that we were taught to embrace since young. To offer love, respect, support, and deference to our parents and ancestors. Fairy Park Group understands that and has always upheld a belief to make filial piety more accessible to the tens and thousands. And that leads us to the inception of Fairy Park Heritage City.
Located at Setia Alam, Selangor, the Fairy Park Heritage City is where the departed and living community co-exist. This shared space is where family members get together, where children and the elderly connect, where ancestral stories and family values are passed down, and where family trees grow.
With this age-old belief in mind, the Fairy Park Heritage City will be a place that cultivates important Chinese values in our children and future generations.

Fairy Park Group has created a cultural hub for people who wish to promote Chinese culture, and with Fairy Park Heritage City, we now have a place where Chinese culture could be passed on to the next generation.
It is hard to find a project like Ancestral Hall Street in Southeast Asia and hence, this makes it a good development project. This collaboration allows associations to have a place of their own and provides them with a source of income. It’s absolutely brilliant!
The Ancestral Hall Street is a win-win project. With the Ancestral Hall Street project, Fairy Park Group channels profits back to participating associations, and these associations will use these funds to better benefit their members. By the community, for the community – this project has achieved this.
Fairy Park Group has a long cultural history. Not only do they provide a platform for descendants to perform ancestor worship, but they also promote cultural heritage and education.
Fairy Park Group has broken cemetery stereotypes with their Food & Culture Street. Not only did they create a tourist attraction, but they have also provided residents of Klang a place to visit. This is a good initiative to introduce what Klang and Kuala Lumpur has to offer and stimulate the economy for both places at the same time.
The younger generation does not view visiting cemeteries as a taboo like the older generation. In fact, they can accept visiting cemeteries for activities other than ancestor worship. This is a good thing as the younger generation can now perform ancestor worship and spend time with their family doing other activities.
My first impression of Fairy Park Heritage City was that it was unconventional. I was curious how entertainment and ancestor worship could be made into one project. Saying that, this initiative allowed Foo Chow people to stand more united and together. Not only can we perform ancestor worship here, but we can also preserve the legacy of our ancestors.
This collaboration gives associations a new breakthrough. Future members of associations will have an Ancestral Hall within Fairy Park Heritage City, a place where they can gather. Not only that, but the younger generation can also learn about the concept of these associations.
If all goes well, these associations will also have a source of income to better benefit their members.
With the ever-changing times, cremation is the ideal way to process the remains of the departed. It saves land resources, and with introduction of modern columbarium, it can be managed better and cleaner. It is also more convenient for descendants to perform ancestor worship.
To accommodate the new ways of doing things, our Ancestral Hall provides a choice for our members while also uniting them!
There are a lot of members in Persatuan Hin Ann Pantai Klang, that is why we need our very own Ancestral Hall. As this was something we’re keen for a long time, it was only the right choice to work with Fairy Park Group. The resources we get in return will be used to set up an educational trust fund and will be channelled back to our members.
The concept of Fairy Park Heritage City is good – not only does it unite our members, but it also provides a space for our members to hold activities. The Ancestral Hall also allows the younger generation to perform ancestor worship with more convenience. Our association wishes to have newer members, and with these benefits, we hope it will attract the younger generation to join us.
Remembering one’s roots is an important Chinese cultural tradition and with the building of the Ancestral Hall, we can trace our roots back to our origin. In the future, our Ancestral Hall will serve as an important cultural heritage site for people of our surname.
We plan to visit our Ancestral Hall in China, where we’ll note down our origin, background, history, and more and bring it back here. That way, people of our surname from all over the world can easily trace their roots here.
The demand for columbarium niche is getting higher day by day, and our association was hoping to expand towards this direction. This is similar to Fairy Park Group’s vision and naturally, this was the birth of our collaboration. The Ancestral Hall Street project by Fairy Park Group pushes boundaries, it is self-sustaining, promotes cultural learning, and facilitates visitations by other associations in the future.
A collaboration was proposed by Fairy Park Group roughly about 2 years ago, and we were very impressed! We thought this was an absolute win-win project. This space will be a cultural hub filled with good food, various facilities, and accommodation. It will surely attract a lot of visitors. This is a fresh new idea!
