The custom of ancestor worship is a religious practice based on the belief that deceased family members have a continued existence, and to show love and respect to them. For most people, this is their connection to their ancestral roots, which is why this custom mainly takes place during Qingming Festival and Hungry Ghost Festival.
Living in today’s fast-paced digital world, we are slowly forgetting how to be human. The interactions between family members, values and culture that were passed on from older generations, all slowly fading away.
To inject new life into society and to relearn how to be human again, we would like to reintroduce cemetery as a space that everyone can visit at any time of the year. This shared space is where profound Chinese values and culture can be passed down to our children and our generations. After years of effort, research, and observation through travelling the world, we can now realise this ideation.
We have created the first concept cemetery in Malaysia that embraces this principle of “From One Generation to The Next” – the Fairy Park Heritage City. A place where tradition meets modernity, a cultural cemetery resort hub. With a well-curated selection of facilities, this project aims to help the community create beautiful memories with family members, rethink the stereotypes we have on cemeteries, and build a community that preserves Chinese culture and values for our children and future generations.
We believe in embracing traditional Chinese values of filial piety, reunion, and inheritance. To stand by our belief, profits earned by Fairy Park Group are used to invest and develop all 166-acres of the Fairy Park Heritage City. Of the developed plot, 53-acres is made available for the community. Live well, discover little moments of joy, and enjoy this sustainable space we have to offer.
As you step into Fairy Park Heritage City, a lush and verdant landscape welcomes you. Leave the hustle and bustle behind and let the experience of being in the calm outdoors sweep you away. Enjoy this moment as this is your opportunity to reconnect with yourself, loved ones, and ancestral roots.
Inspired by the ancient city of Lijiang, China, the Fairy Park Heritage City emphasises on the nature and landscape architecture that reflects just that. Features of Chinese architecture are all notable on our tastefully built buildings whilst elements of Tibetan Feng Shui can be found within our Ancestral Halls.
Take a walk within our sanctuary and be in awe with the landscape design filled with lush greenery, blue lakes, stone arch bridges, grey-tiled wooden walls, and more. No matter which angles you look at it from, this beautiful landscape is a picturesque painting that reminds us of an ancient city in China.
In contrast to our nature and landscape architectural design, our interior design is modern and exudes novelty. Feel free to enjoy a variety of street markets and facilities within our 53-acre cultural cemetery resort hub such as Ancestral Hall Street, Food & Culture Street, luxury banquet hall, multipurpose hall, swimming pool, children’s water park, basketball court, badminton court, gymnasium, fishing lake, café, and more.
